Amazing little guest house. Room was very clean complimentary shower gel and shampoo was a nice little suprise. Room was very well equipped with hair dryer ironing board and good wifi connection. Perfect location for exploring ilam park and Thorpe Cloud and the Roaches. Also near Haddon Hall Chatsworth House and Bakewell just a short 30 min drive away. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was amazing. I am a celiac and they were more than happy to cater for me. Leek itself is a lovely little market town with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and nice independent shops which was very refreshing. Would definately recommend and would stay again.
Exactly as described. Clean,comfy, and fantastic breakfast. Wasn't expecting the stairs to the triple room however. Ideal location for exploring Leek. Some road noise at night. Well equipped room
Stayed here when visiting Peak Wildlife Park. Room was clean and comfortable. We arrived after check in time but we had clear instructions for how to get into our room. Excellent breakfast and good service.
First stay at The Green Man, and I've already booked a room for a return visit in April. Very welcoming owners, great location in Leek town centre, free off road car parking, clean and comfortable room, topped off with a nice breakfast. Cannot fault it.
Stayed for one night for a wedding. Friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts who gave useful local recommendations and good advice on taxi bookings. Great location within easy walking distance of central Leek. Clean, comfortable and quiet at night - we slept really well and enjoyed our breakfast (the Staffordshire oatcakes were a hit!). A great find where we’d happily stay again, thank you.
Short but sweet stay. Travelled 460 miles, so was delighted to rest for a night in the single room.Everything I required and the breakfast was superb. Great communication after booking.
Was a one night stay, my single room was very comfortable, I was worried about my room being on the main road side, but it wasn't a problem. Hardly any noise, in fact very quiet. I was greeted by name, and shown to my room. Everything has been thought about, hairdryer, iron and board, complimentary soap and shampoo. Very clean. The hosts are very friendly, and happy to share their knowledge of places local to visit and further afield. The full breakfast was superb. Next time might try the oatcakes as never had one before. Secure car parking available on site (free). Wi-fi was good (free). I highly recommend The Green Man Guest House. Thank you Paul & Jill x
